Who does the work?
Every job is done by an independent garage door contractor: all contractors working with Garage Door Guy NC are independent. Technicians are based in North Carolina’s major cities, from Charlotte and the Triangle to the Triad, Wilmington and Asheville, and drive to your home. They repair springs, cables, rollers, tracks, panels and openers from LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Genie and Craftsman, and install new doors and openers.

Why is spring and cable work left to a technician?
Torsion springs and lift cables hold the full weight of the door under tension. Releasing that tension without winding bars and training causes serious injuries, so the contractors handle every spring, cable and bottom-bracket job. A door with a broken spring stays closed until the technician arrives.
Before leaving, the technician checks that the photo-eye beam sits no higher than 6 in above the floor and that the door reverses on contact, the two safety tests North Carolina home inspectors now report on.
Where do we work?
Technicians cover all of North Carolina, from the Charlotte metro and Lake Norman through the Triangle and the Triad to the Sandhills, the coast and the mountains.
